Honey



I forgot to add how great the Mexican food was in Albuquerque. After a few margaritas at a local bar, we asked the bartender to recommend a good place for dinner. What's interesting is that they use honey as a condiment. Iain dove right in and poured it all over everything, while I was a little more conservative. It works -- it's a nice compliment to the saltiness of the beans and the meat and the corn.

Sidebar: there was a server there who looked like a cross between a younger Fidel Castro and Dr. Fu Manchu -- I tried to get a picture (see blurry shot) but it's really tough to surreptitiously take a picture of someone with a crappy digital camera.
