So why did we wind up:
1. eating lunch by the beach
2. wandering around the Viaduct
3. visiting friends, Jenny + David and week old baby Max
4. watching rugby (Iain)
5. seeing Precious (me)
6. having drinks with our 85 year old neighbors, Mitch + Lois
Maybe it had something to do with the weather -- spectacular!!

Your house looks great!!! Good luck with the move--I don't envy you the packing--and I'm paying attention to your mention of the weather as I contemplate a March trip to NZ next year--would you compare it to Sept. in NE?
And I will also make a mental note to bring the Heinz ketchup for Sam with us, as it seems hard to believe that Watties tomato sauce is a reasonable substitute.
